Advanced Reward Options

ReferralHero has updated its reward templates with new Advanced Options. This feature comes with new options that allow you to set up additional types of rewards and reward rules. These advanced options will be most beneficial if you are offering payment as a reward.

Understanding the Advanced Options

The Advanced Options for reward templates now include three new options for setting up rewards:

• Reward Value: choose a fixed amount or a percentage of the referral conversion value.

Note: If selecting ‘percentage of referral conversion value’ the conversion value must be set in the Subscriber profile to calculate the reward value, otherwise the reward value will return as 0. This feature is not available in points-based campaigns.

• Reward Frequency: set up recurring payments that occur every set number of days or months for a specified number of times.

• Reward Delivery: choose to release the reward immediately, hold it until manually reviewed and released, or hold it for a specified number of days before releasing.

Note: If a reward triggers every time a subscriber refers three referrals and the reward value is based on the percent of referral conversion value, the sum of all three referral conversion values will be used to calculate the reward value.

Affiliate Reward Structure

ReferralHero supports ongoing transaction tracking, empowering you to reward affiliates for transactions that occur over time. If you plan to provide ReferralHero with transaction data via Stripe, Javascript API, or Rest API follow these steps to set up an affiliate reward structure.

Note: This feature is only available when your campaign Goal is set to Conversion Event

1. Reward Trigger: Toggle ON the “Reward the referrer for each transaction completed by a [pending/unconfirmed/confirmed] referral.

2. Reward Value: Choose between the options "fixed amount" or "percent of each transaction" to issue a new reward for each qualified transaction.

3. Reward Duration: Set the duration for which rewards should recur for [xx] [transactions/months].
